The Jarrow & Hebburn Local History Society meets each Wednesday morning between 10.00 and 12.00 at the Jarrow Community Centre on Grange Rd, East of the Town Hall. We frequently have talks and lectures on various subjects of interest (itinerary available here), we collect historical memorabilia appertaining to the local area. An accompanying Newsletter is produced every quarter by the members and edited by Mrs V Wilson.
